Universal Interphase for Programmable Devices

Have you ever fought with the buttons in your VCR, DVD player, wrist watch, TV or any other electronic device?
Did you have problem figuring out how to turn off an annoying alarm in a clock?
It would be nice if every device had a standard port to interphase by Bluetooth or USB with a palm computer, where non-expert users could find help, diagrams, FAQs and other ways to program the device.
There will be a choice to different kinds of interphases, one of them a universal standard.

Anti-assault alarm based in Heart Rate Monitor

On many occassions an attack does not leave time for pressing a panic button. Either because the button is out of reach, or because the attacker threatens to shoot if the victim activates any alarm. A small heart rate monitor, the kind that comes in wrist watch form, or attached to a smart cellular phone, could do the life-saving action. Today a local bus driver suffered an attack that costed him two fingers, because he was reaching for the panic button. The heart-rate alarm could be triggered seconds before the assault actually occurs, acting as a deterrent. Also, thieves would see no point in shooting a person because he got too scared, maybe with no intention to push an alarm button. Main targets for this invention are bus drivers, banks, jewelry stores, gas stations and other similar places.
