Catapult for launching planes at airports

The catapults used by airplane carriers to launch bomber jets should be extended to regular airports, in order to save fuel, improve launching security, reduce noise and air pollution and allow lighter planes.
In airports close to the water, the launching catapult should point there, in order to reduce damage in case of engine failure and accident.

Wine tasting kit

I want to sell small wine bottles, in a set of 6, with numbers instead of labels. Labels will go in a closed envelope, together with the number equivalence to each label.
Wine testing will be demystified and put into the average-Joe table.

We tested the product in family meetings and parties and it was very successfull, people like it and would pay for it.

Universal Interphase for Programmable Devices

Have you ever fought with the buttons in your VCR, DVD player, wrist watch, TV or any other electronic device?
Did you have problem figuring out how to turn off an annoying alarm in a clock?
It would be nice if every device had a standard port to interphase by Bluetooth or USB with a palm computer, where non-expert users could find help, diagrams, FAQs and other ways to program the device.
There will be a choice to different kinds of interphases, one of them a universal standard.
Urgently needed!

Compare your views with those of the politic candidates

A system that registers the yes/no opinions of politicians in a number of issues. The user can be matched to the candidates to find the best fit. We have a preliminary sample, in Spanish, partially adapted to the Argentine current status.

We can create a similar product for any country or political entity.

Anti-assault alarm based in Heart Rate Monitor

On many occassions an attack does not leave time for pressing a panic button. Either because the button is out of reach, or because the attacker threatens to shoot if the victim activates any alarm. A small heart rate monitor, the kind that comes in wrist watch form, or attached to a smart cellular phone, could do the life-saving action. Today a local bus driver suffered an attack that costed him two fingers, because he was reaching for the panic button. The heart-rate alarm could be triggered seconds before the assault actually occurs, acting as a deterrent. Also, thieves would see no point in shooting a person because he got too scared, maybe with no intention to push an alarm button. Main targets for this invention are bus drivers, banks, jewelry stores, gas stations and other similar places.

This edible plant is watered with Sea Water and lambs fed with it are leaner

This looks like the solution for many sea side communities with scarce drinking water. The plant is called Salicornia, and the experiment of feeding sheep was performed by an Argentine scientist, winning the Innovar prize.

The lambs had 50% less colesterol when fed with salicornia, pointing to an original, cheap and abundant natural resource.

Salicornia: agricultura con agua de mar

Oscar Alberto Bianciotto
